The new version of Asimo robot Honda



 The most famous Japanese robot created by Honda in 2000 is back in a
 new version with many improvements. Asimo , which stands for
 Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility , is a research robot yet
 commercialized.
In November 2011, Honda introduced in Tokyo 5th version
 his robot , lighter and more flexible than the previous version of
 2007. Asimo can now run faster, 9km / h . his legs
 more sophisticated enables additional movements,
 such as walking on one foot , jumping in with both feet , bend and
 kick a ball . It is also able to keep his balance
 on slightly rough surfaces . His hands were also
 undergone significant improvements . The fingers and the palm have
 touch sensors and strengths which enable the touch and mani-
 puler objects with great precision .
 Asimo can shake the hand of a person without crushing it , unscrew the cap of a bottle and pour its contents
 into a glass. It can also push a cart and articulate some words in sign language .
 The most amazing improvements is its ability to analyze the movements of a person he meets . If this
 person suddenly changes direction, Asimo is able to avoid it in time. He also knows recognize
 people through their faces as well as their voices .
 Asimo is likely to make a career in the nuclear sites , such as the Fukushima atomic plant , where the
 high radioactivity level prevents man working there. The Japanese android can also help people
 disabilities and practice a waiter in companies .
