Russian engineers Nettle company recently presented a table
displaying on the screen a holographic 3D effect bluffing. Dubbed Nettlebox 2
this table requires the use of 3D glasses , to visualize objects
3D views from different angles.
The image gives the impression of floating above the screen , although it
these are not exactly a hologram . The technology used is
based in fact on a distortion of the image. The 3D glasses contain
a sensor which detects the position of the user and directs the 3D image
function of the displacements of the latter.
One can admire in the video below a car in all
its seams walking around the table , but also the displacement
a robot on a road, or different facades of a Russian castle.
The Nettlebox 2 can display up to 300 images per second. this concept
promising is much less expensive than traditional holograms
nels , still at the prototype at present .
